Freeview
or Digital Terrestrial TV
Freeview
is the colloquial name for digital terrestrial
television broadcast in the UK. To receive it, you
need a digital antenna (very much like the old
analogue antennas of the past) and a freeview box (a
set-top-box or a digibox) or a freeview ready
television.
Freeview
is available in most households, although large
trees or buildings nearby may disturb your signal
and you may wish to consider receiving your channels
using a satellite dish. Wherever you live, we can
advice you on how to do the digital switch at your
house.
